RESOLUTION NO. 2002-373
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF PART OF
THE UTILITY EASEMENT FOR
LOT 1, BLOCK 1
WILLOW GROVE OFFICE PARK SECOND ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Michael J. Monn with
Amcon Constriction Company, has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following
utility easement:
That part of the 20.00 foot wide easement for utility purposes as dedicated in Lot 1,
Block 1, WILLOW GROVE OFFICE PARK SECOND ADDITION, according to
the record plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The center line of said
easement is described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence easterly on an
assumed bearing of South 88 degrees 52 minutes 30 seconds East along a
southerly line of said Lot 1 a distance of 285.00 feet more or less to a corner
of said Lot 1; thence North 1 degree 07 minutes 30 seconds East along an
easterly line of said Lot 1 a distance of 436.00 feet more or less to a corner of
said Lot 1; thence South 1 degree 07 minutes 30 seconds West along said
easterly line a distance of 47.00 feet to the point of beginning of the
centerline to be described; thence North 84 degrees 23 minutes 06 seconds
West to a point on the westerly line of said Lot 1, distant 55.00 feet southerly
of a angle point in said westerly line and said centerline there terminating.
which lies easterly of a line 20.00 feet easterly of and parallel with the westerly line
of said Lot 1 and westerly of the following described Line A:
Line A:
Commencing at the aforedescribed point of beginning; thence South 1 degree
07 minutes 30 seconds West along said easterly line a distance of 79.80 feet;
thence North 52 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 62.51 feet
to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence on a bearing of
North a distance of 117.00 feet and there terminating.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of September 9,
2002 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as
the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to
publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
