RESOLUTION NO. 2002-370
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING
CEDAR VIEW ESTATES ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the residents requesting installation of a
mast arm residential street light in the Cedar View Estates Addition; and
WHEREAS, the petition has been signed by 78% of the residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Cedar View Estates Addition by the
installation of a mast arm street light, filed with the City Council on August 13, 2002,
is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property
affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes
Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to
the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way
as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
