RESOLUTION NO. 2002-367
RESOLUTION REJECTING BID
OLD ROCKFORD ROAD/STATE HIGHWAY 55 UTILITY
CITY PROJECT NO. 1033
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the constriction of Old Rockford
Road/State Highway 55 Utility Improvements and all necessary appurtenances, bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Barbarossa and Sons, Inc. of Osseo, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, the low bid is 39% over the City's consulting engineer's estimate, and it is the
recommendation of the consulting engineer to reject all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. All bids received are hereby rejected.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids.
Adopted by the City Council on August 13, 2002.
