RESOLUTION NO. 2002-364
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 11 AND FINAL
LIFT STATION NO. 2 RENOVATIONS
CITY PROJECT NO. 8030
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Rice Lake Contracting Corp., as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for Lift Station No. 2 Renovation, City Project
No. 8030, said agreement being dated August 8, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $1,164,400.00. Four change orders
were approved in the amount of $221,833.00 and the value of the work to
date is $1,375,474.50 and is herewith approved. This project does not
exceed the revised contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Lift Station No. 2
Renovation Improvement and certified to the Council by the engineer as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the contract except as
to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the
owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final
payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 11 and Final in the amount of $7,150.00 to Rice
Lake Contracting Corp. for Lift Station No. 2 Renovation Improvement
Project is hereby approved and the City Finance Director is hereby
authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
Adopted by the City Council on August 13, 2002.
