HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-360CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-360 APPROVING THE COMMITMENT OF $236,000 FROM THE TAX INCREMENT HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THE STONE CREEK VILLAGE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has identified a need to increase the availability of affordable housing opportunities to assist low and moderate income households in obtaining housing in the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has received a request for financial assistance from Dominium Development for the Stone Creek Village project; and WHEREAS, City Staff has reviewed the request for financial assistance and has found that it meets the goals of the HRA and the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has determined that the request for assistance meets the guidelines of the Tax Increment Housing Assistance Program; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has fiinds available in its Tax Increment Housing Assistance Program. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it hereby approves the commitment of $236,000 from its Tax Increment Housing Assistance Program for the Stone Creek Village apartment project.
