HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-357CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-357 APPROVING HAZARDOUS MATERIAL TRAINING GRANT AND AGREEMENT WHEREAS, The State of Minnesota has been provided a grant by the U.S. Department of Transportation to provide fiinds under the Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP) program; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has applied and has been authorized to receive grant funding through the HMEP to conduct hazardous material training; and WHEREAS, the City agrees to the terms of the grant and authorizes the State of Minnesota, Division of Emergency Management to enforce the grant contact in accordance with the applicable riles and regulations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City enter into the grant agreement with the State of Minnesota, Division of Emergency Management for a hazardous material training grant, and authorize the Mayor and City Manager to sign the agreement.
