AWARD CONTRACT
FIRE STATION NO. 3 PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 1010
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the reconstruction of the parking
lot at Fire Station No. 3, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Bid Amount $129,419.50
$119,115.50

WHEREAS, it appears that DMJ Corporation of Hamel, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA THAT:
The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into the contract with DMJ Corporation of Hamel, MN in the
name of the City of Plymouth for the Fire Station No. 3 Parking Lot
Reconstruction Project according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the
City Engineer in the amount of $119,115.50.
2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that
the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall
be retained until a contract has been signed.
3. Funding for the project shall be $128,128 from the Public Facilities
Fund and $20,766 from the Infrastructure Replacement Fund.
