RESOLUTION NO. 2002-325
RESOLUTION IMPOSING A CIVIL PENALTY
AGAINST SNYDER DRUG STORE #79
FOR TOBACCO COMPLIANCE CHECK VIOLATION
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department routine conducts compliance checks on
licensed tobacco establishments within the City; and
WHEREAS, during one of these checks conducted on April 1, 2002, an individual
employed at the Snyder Drug Store 479, located at 4132 Lancaster Lane, sold tobacco to an
underage person; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statue and Plymouth City Code allow for administrative
civil penalties against the license holders for such violations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution imposing civil penalties
against Snyder Drug Store 479 for:
• Imposition of a $750 fine and 15 -day license suspension for a second violation.
Adopted by the City Council on July 9, 2002.
