RESOLUTION NO. 2002-324
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
METROPOLITAN AIRPORTS COMMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
CHECKPOINT SECURITY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) needs assistance in
providing licensed law enforcement officers at the passenger screening checkpoints
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department has the ability to provide the
required personnel
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Airports Commission and the Plymouth Police
Department requires a signed agreement between MAC and the City of Plymouth for the
utilization of our personnel
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing the
Mayor and the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the Metropolitan Airports
Commission.
Adopted by the City Council on July 9, 2002.
