RESOLUTION NO. 2002-321
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT A FAX MACHINE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
FROM THE HENNEPIN COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FRED PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Attorney's Office has received grant monies to
purchase fax machines for law enforcement agencies to submit cases electronically or by
fax to the Hennepin County Attorney's office, and
WHEREAS, they are looking to work with local law enforcement agencies on this
project; and
WHEREAS, we believe that accepting this fax machine will be a benefit to the
City, as it will expedite the complaint process, as well as, provide both Hennepin County
and our police department with a better complaint tracking system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution accepting the fax
machine for the police department from the Hennepin County Attorney's office Fred
Project.
Adopted by the City Council on July 9, 2002.
