AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO
SIGN THE LISTING AGREEMENT WITH
BEDROCK REAL ESTATE, INC. FOR THE CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT
3225 COUNTY ROAD 101
CITY PROJECT NO. 9005
HENNEPIN COUNTY PROJECT NO. 8911
WHEREAS, Bedrock Real Estate, Inc. is the City's real estate listing agent for the City -
owned properties purchased as part of the County Road 101 Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, at the May 14, 2002 City Council meeting, approval was given to list the
property at 3225 County Road 101 with Bedrock Real Estate, Inc. after code corrections and
aesthetic improvements, estimated to cost $15,750, were completed and the subsequent
listing price would be $189,900; and
WHEREAS, unsolicited interest in the purchase of the City -owned property at 3225 County
Road 101 has been received by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized
to sign a revised Listing Agreement with Bedrock Real Estate, Inc. for the City -owned
property at 3225 County Road 101 at a listing price of $174,900 with the City being
responsible for the repair or replacement of the existing furnace and repair of broken
windows; and
FURTHER: That the property will be listed on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) starting
on June 26, 2002, and ending on September 26, 2002.
Adopted by the City Council on June 25, 2002.
