RESOLUTION NO. 2002-283
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY TO
PARTICIPATE IN THE 800 MHz USERS' AGREEMENT AND LEASING
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department is dependent upon the Hennepin
County Sheriff s Office for its dispatching services and communications equipment.
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Sheriffs Office is launching its 800 MHz
project and abolishing its current VHF communications system.
WHEREAS, Hennepin County requires a signed agreement between the County
and the City of Plymouth prior to the utilization of their services and equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing the
Mayor and the City Manager to enter into this agreement and leasing program with
Hennepin County.
