HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-279CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-279 EXTENSION OF REVIEW PERIOD ON THE PROPOSED NEW RULES MINNEHAHA CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District proposed revisions to riles B (erosion control), D (wetland protection), and N (storm water management), and new rile M (lake, stream and wetland buffers), and held its first public hearing on these proposed changes in May 2001 and made revisions; and WHEREAS, the District held a second public hearing on proposed riles, changes, and additions in February 2002, and received public comment through March 2002, and made revisions to the proposed riles; and WHEREAS, the Watershed District sent out a notice on May 29, 2002 requesting comments by June 12, 2002 on the most recent revisions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That a request be submitted to the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District requesting that the comment period be extended until the end of June due to the short timeframe between the receipt of the proposed riles and the close of the comment period so that City staff and the City Council will have sufficient time to review and comment on the proposed changes. It is requested that the comment period be extended to the end of June. Adopted by the City Council on June 11, 2002. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS.
