RESOLUTION NO. 2002-272
RESOLUTION SUPPORT OF COMBINED HENNEPIN COUNTY AND LOGIS
DISPATCH AND RECORDS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the LOGIS consortium of law enforcement agencies has recently
completed a project to put together an RFP and select a vendor for a new
CAD/RMS/MDT computer system; and
WHEREAS, we have been notified that Hennepin County is beginning a similar
project for their dispatch system; and
WHEREAS, there are numerous advantages to the City of Plymouth and other
cities within the LOGIS consortium that are dispatched by Hennepin County to them
having a combined system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution in support of a
combined Hennepin County and LOGIS dispatch and records management system.
