HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-269CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-269 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID WELL NO 6 MAINTENANCE PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Well No. 6 Maintenance Project and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: COMPANY TOTAL BID Mark J. Traut Wells, Inc. $63,640.00 Bergerson-Caswell, Inc. 64,080.00 E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. 68,922.00 Keys Well Drilling Company 69,130.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Mark J. Traut Wells, Inc. of Waite Park, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with Mark J. Traut Wells, Inc. of Waite Park, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Well No. 6 Maintenance Project according to the plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $63,640.00. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
