RESOLUTION NO. 2002-267
DESIGNATING SRF CONSULTING GROUP AS CONSULTANT FOR DESIGN
AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE THE
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD FROM DUNKIRK LANE TO COMSTOCK LANE AND
BRIDGE OVER C.P. RAILROAD
CITY PROJECT NO. 2021
WHEREAS, the City wishes to proceed with the preparation of plans and specifications for
Schmidt Lake Road from Dunkirk Lane to Comstock Lane, and bridge over the Canadian Pacific
(C.P.) Railroad; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal dated May 23, 2002, to provide design and
constriction engineering services for the Schmidt Lake Road and bridge over C.P. Railroad
improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into
all contracts necessary to secure the services of SRF Consulting Group, Inc. for the design and
constriction engineering service in accordance with their proposal dated May 23, 2002 and
authorize SRF Consulting Group, Inc. to proceed with plans and specification for Schmidt Lake
Road from Dunkirk Lane to Comstock Lane and bridge over C.P. Railroad, City Project No.
2021.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED: That fiinding in the amount of $2,000,000 be provided from the
Minnesota State Aid Fund.
Adopted by the City Council on June 11, 2002.
