APPROVING PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH
COMPEER ENTERPRISES, LLC FOR
CITY -OWNED PROPERTY AT
17825 COUNTY ROAD 24
COUNTY ROAD 101 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9005
WHEREAS, the City Council approved by Resolution No. 2002 — 047 to sell the homes
associated with the County Road 101 constriction project; and
WHEREAS, at the May 14, 2002 City Council meeting authorization was given to sell the
property at 17825 County Road 24; and
WHEREAS, the property was listed with the City's Realtor, Bedrock Real Estate, Inc., on
May 22 and four offers were subsequently received; and
WHEREAS, the City's Realtor is recommending acceptance of the purchase agreement
submitted by Compeer Enterprises, LLC dated May 27, 2002 at a price of $151,250; and
WHEREAS, there is an addendum to the purchase agreement indicating that the buyers will
replace the heating system for the property and the City will credit the buyers $5,000 at
closing to replace the heating system; and
WHEREAS, this same addendum indicates that the buyers will repair all items listed on the
inspection report prepared by City Housing Inspector, Warren Kulesa, dated August 1, 2001
prior to occupancy of the property; and
WHEREAS, the same addendum indicates that the buyers will remove the heating oil tank
buried on the north side of the house in a manner that complies with all environmental laws
regarding oil tank removal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the purchase agreement for the property
located at 17825 County Road 24 between the City and Compeer Enterprises, LLC is
approved and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of
the City.
