RESOLUTION NO. 2002-233
SELLING OPTIONS ON 3 CITY -OWNED PROPERTIES
ASSOCIATED WITH THE CO. RD. 101 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR & CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE
PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH INTERFAITH OUTREACH &
COMMUNITY PARTNERS FOR THE PROPERTY AT 17915 30TH PLACE
CITY PROJECT NO. 9005 and HENNEPIN COUNTY PROJECT NO. 8911
WHEREAS, Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners has provided the City with a
Purchase Agreement for the City -owned property at 17915 30th Place at the recommended
listing price of $179,900; and
WHEREAS, Bedrock Real Estate Inc. has given the City 2 listing options on each of the
remaining properties the City owns, to sell "as is" or make code and aesthetic improvements
and sell in an improved condition; and
WHEREAS, it is the staff committee's recommendation to list the City -owned property at
17825 Co. Rd. 24 in an "as is" condition after replacing the non-functioning furnace, and
make improvements to the City -owned property at 3225 Co. Rd. 101 at an estimated cost of
$15,750 before listing it; and
WHEREAS, Bedrock Real Estate Inc. is designated to list and sell City -owned properties
purchased with the County Road 101 Improvement Project per Resolution 2002-048.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners'
purchase offer be accepted, subject to resolution of any concerns based on the City
Attorney's review, for the property at 17915 30th Place for $179,900 and that Bedrock Real
Estate Inc. list and sell the properties at 17825 Co. Rd. 24 for an "as is" condition price of
$134,900 (after replacing the furnace) and 3225 Co. Rd. 101 for $189,900 after code
corrections and aesthetic improvements are completed as recommended by the City's
Realtor, Bedrock Real Estate, Inc.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to
sign the purchase agreement between Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners and the
City of Plymouth.
Adopted by the City Council on May 14, 2002.
