HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-222CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2002-222 AUTHORIZATION FOR STAFF TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR GRANT TO ASSIST WITH THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE RESIDENTIAL ENERGY CODE WHEREAS the Department of Administration, Building Codes and Standards Division, and the Department of Commerce, State Energy Office are jointly soliciting applications from Minnesota jurisdictions for grants to be awarded by the Department of Commerce to support energy code enforcement for residential buildings; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Department will reassign one of its existing staff to perform the duties associated with the energy code enforcement work. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, to authorize staff to submit an application for grant to assist with the enforcement of the residential energy code. Adopted by the City Council on May 14, 2002.
