HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-206CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2002-206 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT TO AMEND THE DEFINITION OF SETBACK (2002023) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the text amendment at a duly called Public Hearing; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the definition of setback. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a Zoning Ordinance text amendment to amend the definition of setback, based upon the following findings: 1. The text amendment would clarify that a front setback is measured from the street right-of-way line, not the lot line, wherever a trial outlot lies between a lot and the street right-of-way. 2. The text amendment would provide the additional verbiage necessary to ensure that "setback" is applied in a consistent manner. ADOPTED by the City Council on May 14, 2002.
