RESOLUTION NO. 2002-141
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER,
FINANCE DIRECTOR, AND CHIEF OF POLICE
TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT THROUGH THE
MINNESOTA AUTO THEFT PREVENTION BOARD
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Board has made monies available
through a grant process to target the issue of auto thefts; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department has developed a program including
community education and proactive decoy operations to deal with this issue; and
WHEREAS, continued grant fiinding has been made available in the amount of $5,000 by the
Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing the City
Manager, Finance Director, and Police Chief to enter into a grant agreement through the
Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Board.
Adopted by the City Council on March 26, 2002.
