RESOLUTION NO. 2002-125
TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM STATE AID INSURANCE PREMIUM TAX FUND
AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND TO GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, fiinds are required to maintain the General Fund 40% fiind balance to budget
percentage, and
WHEREAS, the State Aid Insurance Premium Tax Fund and the Capital Improvement Fund
have fiinds available to assist the General Fund with maintaining the desired fiind balance level,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendation from the Finance Director to
transfer $156,000 from State Aid Insurance Premium Tax Fund and $150,000 from the Capital
Improvement Fund to the General Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is hereby directed to transfer
$156,000 from the State Aid Insurance Premium Tax Fund No. 206, and $150,000 from the
Capital Improvement Fund No. 411 to the General Fund. Further be it resolved, that the transfer
is to be made effective December 31, 2001 for the 2001 accounting year.
