HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2002-119CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2002-119 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING SECTION 21555.07 OF THE PLYMOUTH CITY CODE (2002010) WHEREAS, Utah State Retirement Fund, has requested an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to allow restaurants serving alcohol with live entertainment as a conditional use within the Business Campus District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the text amendment at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 2002-09 amending the Zoning Ordinance text to allow restaurants serving alcohol with live entertainment as a conditional use within the Business Campus District: and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that revisions to Section 21555.07 of the City Code are necessary based on the following findings: 1. The amendment is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and plans. 2. The amendment meets the purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance. 3. Allowing the proposed use would provide an amenity to the office building and surrounding community. ADOPTED by the City Council on March 12, 2002.
