RESOLUTION NO. 2002-088
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
2002 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
SCHMIDT LAKE AREA
CITY PROJECT NO. 2001
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted February 12, 2002, a report
has been prepared with respect to certain streets in Maintenance District 13 based upon
the 2000 Pavement Management Annual Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on February 26, 2002;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated 2002 Street Reconstruction Project, Schmidt
Lake Area, for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398,
as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of
$1,984,850.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
26th day of March 2002 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
