RESOLUTION NO. 2002-069
AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF FIVE NEW CURRENT MODEL
REPLACEMENT POLICE PURSUIT VEHICLES
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved in the 2002 budget the purchase of new replacement squad cars; and
WHEREAS, the City may purchase off State contracts; and
WHEREAS, Superior Ford has a contract with the State. (contract 4426133)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, to authorize the purchase of five new pursuit squad cars off the State contract through Superior Ford.
The purchase price is $21,229 per vehicle and the total amount is $106,555 including manuals.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that the funding will be from account:
602-1760-8004
