RESOLUTION NO. 2002-065
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 6 AND FINAL
NC -15 TRUNK SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN
CITY PROJECT NO. 9914
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Meadowvale Constriction, Inc., as
contractor, have entered into an agreement for the NC -15 Trunk Sanitary Sewer and
Watermain Improvements, City Project No. 9914, said agreement being dated February
5, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $351,149.00. One change order
was approved in the amount of $2,643.63. The value of the work to date
is $346,326.63 and is herewith approved. This project does not exceed the
revised contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for the NC -15 Trunk Sanitary
Sewer and Watermain Improvement Project and certified to the Council
by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the
contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all
legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty
work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 6 and Final in the amount of $21,098.28 to
Meadowvale Constriction, Inc. for the NC -15 Think Sanitary Sewer and
Watermain Improvements Project is hereby approved and the City Finance
Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
4. The fiunding for this project is from the Utility Trunk Fund (421).
