RESOLUTION NO. 2002-059
APPROVING THE LETTER OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH AND LAW ENFORCEMENT LABOR SERVICES
(LELS) REPRESENTING PLYMOUTH POLICE OFFICERS
FOR CALENDAR YEARS 2002 ESTABLISHING THE
CITY'S CONTRIBUTION TO HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS AND TO
DEFERRED COMPENSATION
WHEREAS, representatives of the City of Plymouth and LELS, representing Plymouth
police officers, have met to negotiate a letter of agreement in accordance with the terms of
their 2000-2002 agreement and the Public Employee Labor Relations Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reported an agreement has been reached for the period
of January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, approve
the letter of agreement regarding health insurance premium contribution and deferred
compensation contribution between the City of Plymouth and LELS, for the period of
January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002; and
FURTHER, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the agreement.
Adopted by the City Council on February 12, 2002.
