RESOLUTION NO. 2002-048
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR & CITY MANAGER TO SIGN
A REALTOR'S LISTING AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTIES ASSOCIATED
WITH THE COUNTY ROAD 101 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 9005
WHEREAS, Realtors with offices in Plymouth were solicited for commission fee proposals to list 7
properties associated with the County Road 101 project; and
WHEREAS, ten proposals were received from Realtors with fees ranging from 3% to 6%; and
WHEREAS, the staff committee, established at the request of the council, evaluated the original
proposals and requested additional information from the Realtors in order to make a final
determination; and
WHEREAS, it was the consensus of the committee to recommend an agent affiliated with a primary
real estate brokerage company with a high level of experience in listing and selling in this market
area and offering full service at a below market fee; and
WHEREAS, the staff committee will facilitate the disposition of these homes in accordance with
the Constriction Cooperative Agreement with Hennepin County for the County Road 101
Improvement Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that Bedrock Real Estate, be selected to list and sell the
designated properties associated with County Road 101 project for a listing period of 90 days with
an optional renewal of 90 days. The City owned properties located at 3030 County Road 101 and
17915 County Road 24 are hereby designated and other City owned properties purchased with the
County Road 101 Project may be designated prior to the completion of the road project.
