RESOLUTION NO. 2003-588
APPROVING SELF-FUNDED DENTAL
PLAN WITH DELTA DENTAL
WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal from Delta Dental to self -fund its dental
plan; and
WHEREAS, considerable savings can be obtained by self -funding the City's dental plan;
and
WHEREAS, the City has met with the representatives from the largest union, and they
have agreed to the Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is authorized to enter
into an agreement with Delta Dental for a City Self -Funded Dental Plan.
Adopted by the City Council on December 16, 2003.
