RESOLUTION NO. 2003-535
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
ORDER PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
TRUNK WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS
LARCH LANE TO PINEVIEW LANE AND
LANCASTER LANE TO WELL NO. 11
CITY PROJECT NO. 3124
WHEREAS, a Preliminary Engineering Report has been prepared by the City's consulting
engineer, TKDA, with respect to the installation of trunk watermain improvements from
Larch Lane to Pineview Lane and Lancaster Lane to Well No. 11; and
WHEREAS, said report also investigates construction of two storm drainage
improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer does not recommend construction of the improvements to
the storm sewer along Old Rockford Road at this time; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on November 25, 2003;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Trunk watermain improvements along with a storm water elevation
control structure east of Pineview Lane are hereby ordered;
2. TKDA is designated as the engineer to prepare plans and specifications
for the trunk watermain installations;
3. Funding in the amount of $539,000 will be provided from the Utility
Trunk Fund for the watermain improvements and funding in the
amount of $5,000 for drainage improvements will be provided from the
Water Resources Fund.
