HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-534CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2003-534 AWARD CONTRACT 15TH AVENUE STORM SEWER PROJECT CITY PROJECT NO. 3130 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the installation of storm sewer pipe and structures for the 15th Avenue Storm Sewer Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Contractor Total Base Bid Soil -Con, Inc. $63,645.00 F.F. Jedlicki, Inc. $72,004.00 Veit Companies $77,137.50 Metro Utilities, Inc. $80,135.00 Dave Perkins Contracting $82,805.00 Park Construction $83,987.10 Friedges Contracting $86,212.39 Lametti & Sons, Inc. $91,771.00 JAG Construction $102,098.00 Northdale Construction, Inc. $139,821.95 WHEREAS, the engineer's estimate for the project is $72,535.00; and WHEREAS, it appears that Soil -Con, Inc. of East Bethel, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for the bid with Soil -Con, Inc. of East Bethel, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 15th Avenue Storm Sewer Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $63,645.00. FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall come from the Water Resources Fund. Adopted by the City Council on November 25, 2003.
