HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-532CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2003-532 AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH MALLOY, MONTAGUE, KARNOWSKI, RADOSEVICH & CO., FOR 2003, 2004, AND 2005 AUDITING SERVICES WHEREAS, the City charter, state statutes and federal regulations require an annual audit of the City's financial records, and WHEREAS, the City has received five proposals to provide auditing services for 2003, 2004, and 2005, and WHEREAS, Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich & Co., scored the highest in the analysis of the audit proposals based on the use of a pre -defined list of evaluation criteria factors, including experience levels and fee schedules, and WHEREAS, the proposed audit service scope of hours and price seems to be a reasonable compromise between the lowest cost and a reasonable amount of hours spent performing the audit and WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into a contract for auditing services; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into a contract with Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich & Co., for the 2003, 2004, and 2005 auditing services in the amount not to exceed $38,800, $39,700 and $40,600, respectively.
