HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-527CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2003-527 APPROVING A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR HCM ARCHITECTS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5905 NATHAN LANE NORTH (2003110) WHEREAS, HCM Architects has requested approval of a site plan amendment to allow construction of a 5,824 square foot polymer production and development facility addition on property legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 1, Bass Creek Business Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public meeting and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by HCM Architects for a site plan amendment to allow construction of a 5,824 square foot polymer production and development facility addition for property located at 5905 Nathan Lane North, subject to the following conditions: 1. The site plan amendment allows construction of a 5,824 square foot polymer production and development facility addition to the north side of the existing Boston Scientific building and the placement of two 5,000 gallon nitrogen tanks, pursuant to the narrative and plans received by the City on October 6, 2003, except as may be amended by this resolution. 2. Prior to construction of the building, the applicant shall obtain the appropriate building and tank permits. 3. Prior to the issuance of a tank permit, the applicant shall submit a hazardous materials management plan consistent with the requirements in the Fire Code. The tank, piping and process system shall be installed and protected to meet current fire code requirements. Resolution 2003-527 (2003110) Page 2 of 2 4. The materials and colors of the building addition shall be compatible with the existing building. 5. Standard Conditions: a. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. b. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the landowner has substantially started construction of the project, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Section 21045.09 of the Zoning Ordinance ADOPTED by the City Council on November 25, 2003.
