RESOLUTION 2003-524
APPROVING COMMENTS ON METROPOLITAN COUNCIL 2030 REGIONAL
DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK
WHEREAS, at its meeting on November 25, 2003 the Plymouth City Council reviewed
the Metropolitan Council's draft 2030 Regional Development Framework dated October
15, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to go on record with comments on the draft
Development Framework during the comment period for the Metropolitan Council's
public hearing, which will close on December 13, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has also reviewed draft comments prepared by the
Association of Metropolitan Municipalities (AMM) on behalf of its member cities, and
concurs with those comments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does direct and
authorize the Mayor to sign a letter transmitting the City's support for these comments to
the Metropolitan Council.
