RESOLUTION NO. 2003-486
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ACCEPT GRANT
FUNDS FROM HENNEPIN COUNTY EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has an emergency plan which details information and
resources necessary to deal with various emergency situations; and
WHEREAS, the City's all -hazard emergency plan had to be updated to include specific
points related to terrorism initiated event response; and
WHEREAS, the City qualified for funding to help offset the costs incurred in updating
the plan through the 2002 State and Local Supplemental Appropriation Planning Grant,
which was administered as a pass-through grant by Hennepin County Emergency
Preparedness; and
WHEREAS, the City was notified that it was approved for a grant in the amount of
$6,365.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution accepting the grant funds from
Hennepin County Emergency Preparedness.
