RESOLUTION NO. 2003-485
APPROVING TRANSFER OF FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING SOLICITING BIDS
FOR AN EXCAVATOR, TRUCK AND TRAILER
WHEREAS, the City has funds within the Street Reconstruction Fund that are planned for
covering the State Aid reductions of $811,971, and purchasing an excavator, truck and
trailer, and
WHEREAS, the General Fund operations will be positive with the transfer of $811,971
from the Street Reconstruction Fund to the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, the purchasing of the excavator, truck and trailer will reduce rental costs and
provide equipment for dredging needs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is authorized to
transfer $811,971 from the Street Reconstruction Fund to the General Fund to offset State
Aid losses and solicit bids for an excavator, truck and trailer.
Adopted by the City Council on October 28, 2003.
