RESOLUTION NO. 2003-480
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF A
GARMIN 320 HANDHELD GPS NAVIGATOR FOR CITY EQUIPMENT AND
DESIGNATING SUCH EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY
THE ENGINEERING DIVISION
WHEREAS, an Engineering Technician attended an annual conference sponsored by the
Minnesota Graphic Information Systems and Land Information Systems (GIS/LIS)
Association at City expense; and
WHEREAS, while attending the annual 2003 conference in St. Paul, Minnesota in
October, the engineering technician was informed he had won a Garmin 320 handheld
GPS Navigator; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined the Navigator would be a useful tool for the use of
the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution accepting the
donation of a Garmin 320 handheld GPS Navigator as City equipment and designating
such equipment for use by the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works.
Adopted by the City Council on October 28, 2003.
