RESOLUTION NO. 2003-476
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
2004 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
KINGSVIEW LANE / 4TH AVENUE
CITY PROJECT NO. 4102
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, new concrete curb and gutter, a storm sewer system
and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, a public informational meeting was held on October 13, 2003, to explain the
proposed project, receive input from the residents on issues related to the design, and
respond to questions and concerns;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated 2004 Street Reconstruction Project, Kingsview
Lane/4th Avenue, City Project No. 4102 for all or a portion of the cost
of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to
429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total
cost of the improvement of $605,000.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
10th day of November 2003 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
