RESOLUTION NO. 2003-470
ENTER INTO AGREEMENT NO. 78789 WITH THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and MnDOT wish to enter into an agreement for planting
landscaping materials in the Trunk Highway 55 right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the Landscape Partnership Agreement, MnDOT Agreement No. 78789,
provides a mechanism for such plantings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City of Plymouth enter into Agreement No.
78789 with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to provide for payment
by the State to the City of Plymouth of the State's share of the costs of the landscape
materials acquisition, construction to be performed upon, along, and adjacent to Trunk
Highway No. 55 from Plymouth Boulevard to 1000 feet west within the corporate City
limits under State Project No. 2723-969A (T.H. 55=188).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute
the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
