RESOLUTION NO. 2003-436
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS FOR CITY
AUDIT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City charter requires an annual audit of the City's financial records, and
WHEREAS, the firms of Deloitte & Touche; HLB Tauges Redpath; Kern DeWenter & Viere;
Malloy, Montague, Karnowskil & Radosevich; and Larson Allen are recognized as specializing in
the area of local government audit, and
WHEREAS, requests for proposal to perform the 2003, 2004 and 2005 audit services would
provide the best means of selecting auditors for the City's needs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is hereby authorized to
solicit requests for proposal for audit services from the firms of Deloitte & Touche; HLB Tauges
Redpath; Kern DeWenter & Viere; Malloy, Montague, Karnowskil & Radosevich; and Larson
Allen for the 2003, 2004 and 2005 audits.
Adopted by the City Council on October 14, 2003.
