HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-394CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2003-394 PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR TAXES PAYABLE IN 2004 WHEREAS, the City Council has preliminary approved the proposed operating budgets for the period commencing January 1, 2004 and certain monies to finance said budgets are preliminary required to be raised from taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be raised by tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for 2004 as set out in the preliminary approved 2004 City budgets are hereby proposed to be levied: LEVY General Purpose General Fund $16,189,926 Levy for projected State Aid cuts 737,392 Mill & Overlay 47,000 Recreation Fund 623,569 Capital Improvement 3 09, 000 Total General Purpose 17,906,887 Special Levies Open Space Bonds 247,071 Activity Center Bonds 430,435 2003 Street Reconstruction Bonds 184,222 2004 Street Reconstruction Bonds 415,000 PERA increases 35,630 Housing & Redevelopment Authority 657,349 Total Special Levies 1,969,707 Total All Levies 19.876.594 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said proposed tax levy be certified to the County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before September 15, 2003. Adopted by the City Council on September 9, 2003.
