RESOLUTION NO. 2003-368
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT
AND COMPENSATION FOR
INTERIM CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City Manager has given notice of his intention to resign; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wants continuity of service to the public; and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels that the Assistant City Manager Laurie Ahrens will best provide
continued leadership and direction; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does:
Appoint Laurie Ahrens as interim City Manager.
2. Approves the pay of the interim City Manager at $110,000.
3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon the resignation of City Manager
Dwight Johnson and shall remain effective until the appointment of the new City Manager.
Adopted by the City Council on August 26, 2003.
