PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 8, 1993
The regular meeting of the Plymouth Planning Commission was called to order by
Chaimum Mike Stulberg at 7:00 p.m.

STAFF PRESENT.
MINUTES:
Syverson, Mike Wigley and Dennis Zylla (arrived at 7:05
p.m.).
Commissioners Julie Witt, and Barb Stimson.
Director Anne Hurlburt,, Associate Planner John Keho,
and Planning SecrAary Jackie Watson.
Motion by Chairman Stulberg, seconded by Chahtnan Syverson to approve the August
25, 1993 Planning Commission minutes.
Vote. 2 Ayes, Commissioners Wigley and Albro abstained. Motion carried.
JGM AGENCY, INC. (93090)
Chairman Stulberg introduced the Consent Agenda item of the request by JGM
Agency, Inc. for a Site Plan Amendment to add seven additional parking spaces to an
existing parking lot at 9909 South Shore Drive.
MOTION by Chairman Stulberg seconded by Commissioner Syverson to recommend
approval of the request by JGM Agency, Inc. for aSite Plait Amendment to add seven
additional parking spaces to an existing parking lot at 9909 South Shore Drive, subject
to all conditions listed in the September 2, 1993 Staff Report.
Vote. 4 Ayes. Motion carried.
YOUR MOVE PACK & LOAD SERVICES, INC. (93085)
Chairman Stulberg introduced the request by Your Move Pack & Load Services, Inc.
for a Conditional Use Permit for the outside storage of rental vehicles located northeast
of I-494 and 24th Avenue North.

Chairman Stulberg waived the review of the September 2, 1993 Staff Report.
Chairman Stulberg introduced Mr. Roger Rosenbach, representing the petitioner.
Mr. Rosenbach stated that he was in agreement with the staff report.
Chairman Stulberg opened and closed the Public Hearing as there was no one present to
speak on the issue.
MOTION by Commissioner'Wigley, seconded by Commissioner Zylla, to recommend
approval of the request by Your Move Pack & Load Services, Inc. for a Conditional
Use Permit for the outside storage of rental vehicles located northeast of I-494 and 24th
Avenue North, subject to all conditions listed in the. September 2, 1993 Staff Report. _
Roll Call Vote. 5 Ayes. Motion carried on an unanimous vote.
BAUER HOMES, INC. (93093)
Chairman Stulberg introduced the request by Bauer Homes, Inc. for an Amended
Planned Unit Development Plan and Conditional Use Permit for a 3 -season porch in
the Plymouth Creek 2nd Addition located at 4130 Ranchview Lane North.
Chaiiman Stulberg waived the review of the September 1, 1993 Staff Report.
Chairman Stulberg introduced Mr. Chris Bauer, representing the petitioner.
Mr. Bauer stated he was in agreement with the staff report.
Chairman Stulberg opened and closed the Public Hearing as there was no one present to
speak on the subject.
MOTION by Commissioner Albin, seconded by Commissioner Wigley to recommend
approval of the request by Bauer Homes; Inc. for an Amended Planned Unit
Development Plan and Conditional Use Permit for a 3 -season porch in the Plymouth
Creek 2nd Addition located at 4130 Ranchview Lane North, subject to all conditions
listed in the September 1, 1993 Staff Report:

COTTONWOOD PLAZA LEASING OFFICE (930907)
Chairman Stulberg introduced the request by Jerome Begin and Barb DeMars for the
Cottonwood Plaza Leasing Office for a Conditional Use Permit for outside storage of
new automobiles at 3900 Vmewood Lane North.
Chairman Stulberg waived the review of the August 30, 1993 staff report
Chairman Stulberg introduced Mr. Al Crain, representing the petitioner.
Mr. Crain stated that he was in agreement with the Staff Report.
Chairman Stulberg opened and closed the Public Hearing as there was no one present to
speak on the request
Commissioner Zylla asked if the parked vehicles would be moved to the back of the
building.
Associate Planner Keho stated that a condition of the resolution is that the vehicles
would be parked at the rear of thebuilding
Commissioner Zylla asked if setback regulation could be infringed upon on the
property for the ung of vehicles.
Associate Planner Keho responded that setbacks must be adhered to, and that the
vehicles could not be parked on the grass.
Commissioner Albro asked if this request would be ongoing.
Associate Planner Keho stated that there would be no expiration date on this request, if
approved by the City Council, but the Conditional Use Permit would need to be
renewed each year by the applicant. This would require that the request go before the
Planning Commission and City Council.
MOTION by Commissioner Wigley, seconded by Commissioner Albro, to recommend
approval of the request by Jerome Begin and Barb DeMars for the Cottonwood Plaza_
Leasing Office for a Conditional Use Permit for outside storage of new automobiles at
3900 Vinewood Lane North, subject to all conditions listed in the August 30, 1993
Staff Report.
Roll Call Vote, 5 Ayes.. Motion carried on an unanimous vote.
