HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2015-150CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2015-150 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PUD GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FOR A MASTER SIGN PLAN AT TRILLIUM WOODS LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF JUNEAU LANE AND COUNTY ROAD 47 (2015018) WHEREAS, Life Care Services has requested approval of a PUD general plan amendment for property legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, and Lot 1, Block 2, Trillium Woods, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the request by Life Care Services for a PUD general plan amendment, subject to the following conditions: 1. A PUD general plan amendment is approved for a master sign plan for Trillium Woods, according to the application and materials received by the city on March 12 and 24, 2015, except as amended by this resolution. 2. Prior to commencement of the alterations, the applicant shall obtain the applicable sign permits. 3. Prior to issuance of the permits, the applicant shall submit the following information or revised plans consistent with city code and the zoning ordinance: a. Addresses or address ranges shall be included on all directional signage for garden homes and main entrance. Revise the plans to indicate all address numerals as six inches in height. b. Reorient the service drive arrow on sign 108 to direct service drive traffic to Juneau Lane. c. Remove one floodlight from the gateway sign at the intersection of 591h Avenue and Cheshire Parkway. 4. Signs may be illuminated as allowed in section 21155 of the zoning ordinance, except that one 70 - watt floodlight shall be permitted on each of signs 101 and 102. 5. The bottom of all text on directional signs or address signs shall be a minimum of three feet above finished grade. 6. All signs shall be located 10 feet from property lines. 7. The address rangefinder signs for the phase two garden homes shall be the same style, size and color as those proposed for phase one (sign 109). 8. Temporary signs shall be permitted as allowed for residential properties in section 21155 of the zoning ordinance. Resolution 2015 - File No. 2015018 Page 2 9. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per ordinance provisions. ADOPTED by the City Council on this 26th day of May, 2015.
