HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2015-147CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2015-147 RESOLUTION APPROVING FILLING OF WETLANDS AND THE WETLAND REPLACEMENT APPLICATION FOR THE GWS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ADDITION (2014121) NE 1/4, SECTION 6, T1 18N, R22W WHEREAS, GWS Land Development of Plymouth, LLC is proposing to fill wetlands with the GWS Elementary School Addition residential development; and WHEREAS, a replacement plan application was prepared replacing the wetland at a minimum 2:1 ratio as required by the Wetland Conservation Act; and WHEREAS, wetland mitigation for the GWS Elementary School Addition shall be in the form of 17,320 square feet (0.40 acre) of wetland bank credits; and WHEREAS, the replacement plan meets the requirements of the Wetland Conservation Act. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the filling of wetlands and the Wetland Replacement Plan Application for the GWS Elementary School Addition is hereby approved and subject to the following conditions: 1. Prior to disturbing any wetland area, the developer shall submit a fully executed Application for Withdrawal of Wetland Credits from the Minnesota Wetland Bank. 2. Per the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, precautions must be taken to protect Blanding's Turtles, if present on-site. APPROVED by the City Council on this 26th day of May, 2015.
