RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - 321
AWARD CONTRACT
2003 LANCASTER LANE TRAIL AND FORCEMAIN PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NOS. 3107 & 3114
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the installation of a bituminous trail and PVC
forcemain along Lancaster Lane from 36th Avenue to the Four Seasons Mall and bituminous trail on
the north side of 36th Avenue east and west from Lancaster Lane, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
WHEREAS, it appears that Motzko Companies of Delano, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into the contract for the bid with Motzko Companies of Delano, MN in the name of the City
of Plymouth for the 2003 Lancaster Lane Trail and Forcemain Project including both Alternate bids
A and B according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $245,518.63.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be as
follows:
Park Dedication Fund (City Project No. 3107) $132,131.24
City Sewer Fund (City Project No. 3114) $174,767.05
Adopted by the City Council on July 22, 2003.
