HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-318CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2003-318 AMENDING THE RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council established the Youth Advisory Council through Resolution 98-251 and revised the membership and terms of office through Resolution 002-214; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to more specifically establish the eligible ages for appointment of youth members. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the resolution establishing the Plymouth Youth Advisory Council (Resolution 98-251 and Resolution 2002-214) is amended as follows: • The Plymouth Youth Advisory Council shall consist of 11 members selected by the City Council following the open appointments policy. One each shall be selected from each of the four wards of the City, and seven shall be selected at large. The members shall be A MINIMUM AGE OF 13 AND ENTERING 9TH GRADE, OR EQUIVALENT, AND under the age of 21 at the time of appointment or re- appointment. The term of office for each member shall be one year, commencing on July 1. Members may be re -appointed. Adopted by the City Council on July 22, 2003.
