HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2003-314CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - 314 AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEITED PROPERTY FROM HENNEPIN COUNTY TO THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR PUBLIC USE DESCRIBED AS OUTLOT A, ROCKFORD SQUARE (13-118-22-12-0011) CITY PROJECT 2039 WHEREAS, Resolution 97-113 was adopted by the City Council on February 19, 1997 to convey this property to the City for the public use of drainage control and future wetland mitigation (DNR Wetland 626-W); and WHEREAS, Resolution 97-113 was not recorded to convey this property to the City due to DNR issues; and WHEREAS, In addition, the City has now designated this parcel for Well #15 which was not designated in Resolution 97-113; and WHERAS, in accordance with the City Council Tax Forfeited Land Policy, this parcel has been reviewed by staff, and WHEREAS, parcel 13-118-22-12-0011 serves a public purpose by providing land for drainage control, future wetland mitigation and the location for Well #15; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA THAT IT HEREBY: 1. Approves the classification made by the Hennepin Board of County Commissioners of parcel 13-118-22-12-0011 as non -conservation land. 2. Requests Conveyance to the City of Plymouth for the public use of drainage control, future wetland mitigation and the site for Well # 15. Adopted by the City Council on July 22, 2003.
