RESOLUTION 2003-258
APPROVING SALE OF PROPERTY
TO FAMILY HOPE SERVICES INCORPORATED
WHEREAS, on January 7, 2003 the City Council approved the sale of property at 3950
and 3960 County Road 101 to Family Hope Services Incorporated for the development of
an approximately 4,800 square foot building, with related parking lot and landscape
improvements, containing offices and meeting rooms for the purpose of conducting its
"Tree House" youth and family counseling services; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that due the unexpected reduction in the site area
available for development, additional land area is necessary for Family Hope Services to
undertake their project; and
WHERAS, the City of Plymouth owns adjacent land which can replace the site area lost
to the right-of-way for County Road 101; and
WHEREAS, following a duly called public hearing as required by the City Charter, the
Council has reviewed request of Family Hope Services Incorporated to amend the
purchase agreement to add this land and to extend the closing date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize
the Mayor and City Manager to sign an amendment to the purchase agreement and
contract for deed for the sale of property at 3950 and 3960 County Road 101 to Family
Hope Services Incorporated dated January 7, 2003 to revise the description of the
property to include the west 20.5 feet of Lot 64, Block 2, Cornerstone Commons 3rd
Addition and to extend the closing date to not later than November 1, 2003.
