Chairman Stei erwal:d introduced ° the request by Peace PEACELUTHERAN CHURCH
Lutheran Church and an overview of the 3uly IGS 1987 staff SITE PLAA, REZONING-,
report was -provided by Coordinatsr Ray Anderson. He also CONDITIONAL USE
advised the Comm„ssion that the minimum requirement for PERMIT AND VARIANCE
overstory trees has been satisfied and this condition shouid
be deleted from the recommended condit .ons of approval
Commissioner Marofsk-y Inquired about the shared access with
the School. ?i.striot for the prooerty to the soutth.'' Direc-
ter Tr mere stated e was not sure abot.:t snared drive docu-
ments, this may have been worker; out; w:itiai the 1979 church
construction. Mark Hooper, V{tce :President of the Congrega-
tion for Peace Lutheran 'Church was, not aware of any docu-
ments. Commissioner Marofsky stated' it appears, that the
southerly exit of the parking lot Is on school property and;
stated an agreement should be prepared.,, Director Trer{ere
stated this :could be required and verified. Such documents
are filed with Hennepin County. Mr. Hooper: stated this
would not be an issue.
Commissioner Zylla inquired about the Variance request.
Director Tremere stated the variance is from the City Fire<
Code which may be granted by the Fire Chief and i subject
to approval. y the City Council. Chairman $teige,rwald

Chairman Steigexwald opened the Public Hearing, as there was:
no one present to speak on this item, the Public Hearing wa.s
closed.
MOTION .by Commissioner Stulberg, seconded. by Commissioner MOTION TO APPROVE
Plufka to recommend approval for the Site Plan, Rezoning,
Conditional ` Use Permit, and Variance for Peace Luthoran
Church deleting Condition No. 9 that requires the minimum of
5 addi-tional trees as discussed above, and adding a new
Condition No. 9 that document.-, shall be submitted providing
easements far the shared` driveways access, for the church and
the School District and, upon approval by the City, ; shall be
filed with 'Hennepin County. ;
